Knitting Pattern - Fossdale Hat

The Fossdale Hat features beautiful cables that were inspired by the river that flows through Fossdale in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

This hat is worked in the round from the bottom up. It has a folded ribbed brim which then flows into the main body of that hat where the lovely cable details take shape.

This pattern has both written and chart instructions so you can follow whichever you prefer.

SKILL LEVEL: Advanced beginner.

TECHNIQUES: Knitting in the round, cable knitting, twisted stitches, decrease stitches.

YARN: Approximately 150 to 160 yards of worsted weight.

NEEDLES: US 7 (4.5mm) Circular 16" length, US 9 (5.5mm) circular 16" length, US 9 (5.5mm) Double Pointed Needles.
